I am a qualified professional photographer, initially serving a six-year apprenticeship in the photographic department of the Machinerys Publishing Company in Burgess Hill
During my apprenticeship I attended Brighton Polytechnic now (University of Brighton) and gained my City and Guilds certificate, then the Polytechnic of Central London now (University of Westminster) for a further four years gaining my PCL diploma in professional photography, associate membership of the BIPP and the MPA followed shortly afterwards.
After qualifying, I worked in London for nearly two years gaining valuable experience at two large studios specialising in catalogue photography.
I established Paul Noble Photographic in February 1982 and was one of the first photographers to start using digital imaging methods in 1996 and was able to offer digital video services in 1999.
I still really enjoy my work and keeping up to date with all technical aspects of photography and video, and I can't wait to order my first 4K QHD video camera. I never stop learning and would love to study for an MA in Digital Media but would probably have to take a year off to achieve this, so sometime in 2037 then.
