Paul Noble Photographic Established 30 Years
I am a qualified professional photographer, and I was very lucky to have served a six-year apprenticeship, at a photographic department to a printers and publishers in Burgess Hill. This also included six years of day release, further education. The first two years I attended Brighton Polytechnic (University of Brighton) and gained my City and Guilds certificate, this enabled me to attend the Polytechnic of Central London (University of Westminster) for a further four years gaining my PCL diploma in professional photography. Having passed all my exams I was able to apply for associateship of the BIPP and the MPA. After qualifying, I worked in London for nearly 2 years gaining valuable experience at 2 large studios specialising in catalogue photography. Returning to Burgess Hill and starting Paul Noble Photographic in Feb 1982. And still working successfully, having been one of the first to start using digital imaging methods in 1996/7 and introducing digital video services in 1999/2000. This also coincides with over 30 years as an Associate of the BIPP, and was pleasantly surprised at receiving a Long Service Award from the BIPP. I still really enjoy my work and keeping up to date with all technical aspects of photography and video, and I can't wait to order my first 4K SHD video camera. I never stop learning and would love to study for an MA in Digital Media but would probably have to take a year off to achieve this, so sometime in 2037 then.
